1. Educational Qualification:

  • Candidate must have completed a Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or any equivalent graduation degree) from a recognized university.

  • The candidate should preferably have studied the same or relevant subject in their graduation (e.g., English, History, Political Science, Hindi, Economics, etc.).

  • Minimum percentage required: 45% to 55% aggregate (varies by university and category).


2. Age Criteria:

  • Minimum age: 20 years (in general).

  • Maximum age: No upper age limit in most universities (depends on institution policy).


3. Required Documents:

  • 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates.

  • Graduation (B.A. or equivalent) mark sheets and degree/provisional certificate.

  • Transfer Certificate (TC) from the last institution.

  • Migration Certificate (if applicable).

  • Character Certificate from the college or university.

  • Aadhar Card or valid ID proof.

  • 4-6 Passport-size photographs.

  • Caste Certificate (for SC/ST/OBC candidates, if applicable).


4. Admission Process:

  • Fill the M.A. application form online/offline as per the college/university’s procedure.

  • Upload or submit all required documents.

  • Some institutions may conduct an entrance exam or interview.

  • Based on merit list or entrance score, students are shortlisted.

  • Attend counseling or document verification round if needed.
